Does the program include coaches notes and tips?

Absolutely. Every cycle and session is built with purpose—whether it's pacing, heart rate targets, or recovery. You'll also find embedded demo videos and written notes specifying effort levels and the goals of the day.

Is this good for someone returning after a long break?

Absolutely. Every program includes four distance tracks, so you can start where you are and progress at your own pace—no need to buy a new plan as you improve. Whether you're a beginner or just getting back in the pool, the structure is built to meet you where you’re at and grow with you.

Can I switch between distance tracks within a session?

Yes. Each session is built with four distance options: Short, Medium, Long, and Performance, so you can train at whatever level suits you that day. There's no need to stick rigidly to one track; the structure is designed to flex around your form, fatigue, and schedule.

What equipment do I need?

You can complete every workout without equipment, but for the best results you'll want fins, paddles, a pull buoy, a snorkel, and a kickboard. These are standard tools that most pool swimmers have access to, and they're integrated into the technique and drill work throughout the program.

How is this different from following a generic swim plan?

TRI Swim Club is built specifically for triathletes, not swimmers. That means the training is designed around race pacing, fatigue management, and conserving energy for the bike and run, not just swimming fast in isolation. Every session has a defined purpose tied to how you'll actually perform on race day.

Is TRI Swim Club a community?
