Double Your Distance is a 4-week program designed for triathletes who are comfortable in the water but new to structured swim training. If you've been focused on bike and run and have been getting by in the swim, or if you've raced before but never properly trained your swim, this is the right starting point.
No. Double Your Distance assumes you can already swim at least 800 meters. It's about learning how to train your swim, developing pacing, endurance, efficiency, and consistency so you can progress with purpose rather than guesswork.
The program includes three structured workouts per week, strategically designed to build and progress over a four-week cycle. Each week includes video lessons from Coach Ziggy with defined sets, drills, and effort levels, so you always know what you’re doing and why.
Double Your Distance is designed as a stepping stone into TRI Swim Club, the ongoing monthly training program. By the end of the four weeks you'll have the confidence, structure, and habits to train consistently at the next level.
Yes. Double Your Distance is supported through the TRI Swim Club app, which includes coach support and feedback via in-app messaging.
Double Your Distance is a standalone 4-week program and doesn't include access to the TRI Swim Club community. If you're looking for that, joining TRI Swim Club after completing the program will give you access to the full community alongside your ongoing training.
