Double Your Distance is a 4-week program that rebuilds your freestyle from the water up with the same structure Coach Ziggy uses to teach every beginner in person.
Most triathletes don't have a fitness problem in the water. They have a fundamentals problem. This course fixes your stroke first, then uses progressive workouts to build your speed and endurance on top of it.
"If swimming is the leg you survive instead of the leg you race, this is a great place to start."

One skill per week, short video lessons, and progressive workouts broken into intervals you can actually complete.
Can swim 100m, but you're gassed at the wall
Legs sink, breathing feels like a fight
Every attempt to swim further falls apart mid-lap
Want to be taught properly, in the right order

"I could swim, but I had no endurance and couldn't cover any real distance. After Zach recommended the Double Your Distance program, everything changed.
The drills on breathing, body position, and technique are easy to follow, and Zach's personal check-ins made all the difference. I've doubled my distance and gained the confidence to keep improving."
- Daniel Kisson, Sprint Triathlon
Each week targets one skill with a video lesson, specific drills, and three structured workouts that put it into practice.
Taught in the right order:
Week 1 — Breathing: stop fighting for air; the real reason you're exhausted
Week 2 — Kicking: why your legs sink, and how to fix it
Week 3 — Body Position: get long, level, and balanced in the water
Week 4 — The Catch: pull more water with less effort
Each skill builds on the last, so by week 4 the whole stroke comes together.

Every workout is written out in full: sets, drills, rest, and effort. You'll never stand at the wall wondering what to do next. Workouts progress from 800m in Week 1 to 1,600m in Week 4. The doubling is built into the program.
By the end of four weeks you'll have a working freestyle and the training habits to keep improving.
This is your starting point. The next step is building on it with TRI Swim Club.

In just 4 weeks, you'll swim further, breathe easier, and know exactly how to keep improving.

Triathletes who can swim, but not far. If you can manage 100m without stopping but everything past that falls apart, this course was built for you. If you're a stronger swimmer looking for structured training rather than technique work, TRI Swim Club membership is the better fit.
No. You need to be able to swim 100m without stopping before you start. From there, the course meets you where you are: workouts are broken into short intervals with rest, and you'll never be asked to swim further in one go than you can handle. If you can't swim 100m yet, a few in-person lessons will get you there faster than any online course, and this program will be waiting when you're ready.
Video lessons on that week's skill, drills that break it down step-by-step, and three structured workouts that put it into practice. Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes, and every set, interval, and rest period is written out for you. Watch the lesson, get in the water, follow the plan.
Double Your Distance is designed as a stepping stone into TRI Swim Club, the ongoing monthly training program. By the end of the four weeks you'll have the confidence, structure, and habits to train consistently at the next level.
Yes. Double Your Distance is supported through the TRI Swim Club app, which includes coach support and feedback via in-app messaging.
Double Your Distance is a standalone 4-week program and doesn't include access to the TRI Swim Club community. If you're looking for that, joining TRI Swim Club after completing the program will give you access to the full community alongside your ongoing training.
$60 /one time. No subscription, no renewal. You get lifetime access, so you can repeat the course whenever you want: before race season, after time off, or if you want to spend an extra week on any skill.
The four fundamentals of freestyle, in the order they should be taught: Week 1 breathing, Week 2 the kick, Week 3 body position, Week 4 the catch. Plus how to pace, structure, and progress your own training.
